Cheers Blair Watch.

Our blog has received hundreds of extra hits today, after one of our stories was featured on the superb 'Blair Watch' website.

The story goes under the headline:

Was it Leighton 'Scum' Andrews' Researcher Who Ordered the Assault on Walter Wolfgang?

There is mutual hate between Blair Watch and Leighton Andrews. In July, Brit nat AM Leighton Andrews called the Blair Watch gang 'Sick Bastards' and 'Scum', after they made the obvious connection between the illegal war in Iraq, and the disgraceful acts of violence in London on the 7th of July. Dan from Blair Watch then commented on Leighton's Blog:

"'Scum' eh! From a New Labour lackey that's a compliment. Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo Bay, Abu Grahib, extraordinary rendition, state sanctioned torture, prejudice, house arrest, detention without trial, the blatant disregard for international law, refusing to count the civilian dead in our bloody wars and unflinching support for the idiot son and his neo conservative agenda etc etc. These obviously have nothing to do with what happened yesterday!? On planet New Labour, anyway..."

The Blair Watch gang probably believe that the alleged antics of Leighton's researcher - David Taylor - in the Walter Wolfgang scandal was also 'Scum', but fortunately, Blair Watch's level of debate is much higher and more constructive than Leighton Andrews and Nu Labour.

This is just way too personal and vindictive. Careful you don't lose your way as I was beginning to enjoy some of your postings.

If a member of the Wales Labour Party really DID instruct the Labour bully boys to assault poor old Wolfgang, then I believe that they are fair game.

There is nothing personal, but this IS a scandal and should be exposed!

"Scum"? That is pretty nasty stuff.

Secondly, you have not presented any proof tp back up this Labour conference story. It is pretty unfair to carry out an attack on an individual when you do not have anything to back it up.

I just did not want you to get too off topic.

hammers = D.T.

Actually you couldn't be more wrong

I do not know this person you keep going on about but just wish you would stick to politics and stop pursuing personal vendettas. For no other reason than it will simply turn people off your cause.

From now on I will not respond to anyone who claims I am someone by the name of 'DT'.

From what I know the David Taylor refered to in this post writes under his own name, unlike the many cowards (you and me incuded) who do not.

the Blair Watch site uses the name 'Leighton 'Scum' Andrews' because of HIS use of the term. just as we use Tony 'F****ng Welsh' Blair.

Re, David Taylor. As we have already previously states, this info was given to us by a VERY credible media source. The Labour Party and David Taylor haven't denied it!

David Taylor usually doesn't write under his own name. He has used 'Price4President' and 'ElTel4President' in the past, and only uses his own name on the Leighton Andrews blog.

As I suspected. You do not have proof, just innuendo.
Actually, if you look at many blog sites, such as Peter Black's, a David Taylor frequently contributes.
Anyway, I don't want to get into a pointless argument. I will just do what most people who are unhappy with personal attacks on blogs do - stop reading.

What kind of proof do you require?

A respected journalist claims to have heard DT making the remark. I will obviously not reveal who the journalist is as I have promised to keep his identity confidential.

NO, i haven't got it on tape, but I do trust the journalist in question.

As far as We're concerned this story is true. David Taylor of course has every right to post on this blog denying the accusation. Unfortunately, he doesn't allow comments on his blog.

PS. We have A LOT of personal stories regarding DT that we could post here, but that's not our style.

Never mind you have missed my point again. I was talking about proof of natwatch. Never mind I am bored with this whole exercise.

Nicholas Michael Morgan said...

You really need o be clearer, as there is no mention of Natwatch in the original post.

Regarding the connection between DT and natwatch, well he does deny it, and he needs to be given the benefit of the doubt.

But I have also been told by somone who's pretty close to DT that he has admitted to some of his Labour Colleagues that he in fact does run natwatch, but as you said, there isn't enough proof, and he could be lying of course.

Hammers - back where we belong said...

I was refering to your comment, rather than the post.

Anyway, thanks for clearing the issue up and maybe I will continue to read if you maintain your commendable attitude of giving people the benefit of the doubt.

I've also spoken to someone close to natwatch's webmaster and he is going to spill the beans. Some friend, huh?

Perhaps it's best that hammers/DT owns up to cut his losses.

Has Leighton Andrews described Natwatch as scum?

Nicholas, perhaps you should forward your source and these stories to the private eye. I reckon they'd love getting their teeth into DT's activities.
