Wear with Pride!

Fed up of seeing England flags invading our country like something from the Crusades? Why not buy some stylish stuff to show off whose country this is:

* Welsh Footie T Shirts
* Cowbois T Shirts
* Shwl Di Mwl T Shirts
* Welsh Flags & Car Flags

Wear with pride!

Great idea for a post.

Also there's Trinidad & Tobago car flags available from Wrexham Supporters Trust ;-)

Sometimes I wish the Scots and Welsh were good enough to qualify for the World Cup so the English could return the favour. Amazing how jealousy can drive people to do juvenile things like this.

I agree Wonko, I'd love to see Wales qualify (I live in hope!), and wonder what the locals would make of a sports shop in Shrewbury, Chester or Bristol that was plastered with Wales flags and bunting.

Of course I'm jealous. I'd love to be in an Englishman's shoes rooting for my country in major finals, but I'm not an Englishman. I'm a Welshman living in Wales.

It rather annoys me listening to English people slagging off other english folk for flying their flag from their cars and houses in England. The complainants are nromally middle class folk I hear on Radio 4. Someone today even went as far as calling it xenophobic! WTF?

On the other hand you must see why we get a bit pissed when there's England flags everywhere in Wales, nothing but Ronney on TV, papers, billboard adverts - I bought the Big Issue CYMRU (Wales edition) yesterday, it had Beckham and a huge ST George's cross on the front and as main feature.

If every town and village in England were plastered with German, French, Turkish or [insert 'any nation the English have a bit of a 'thing' about' here] flags, I doubt you'd hold your tounge.
